We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior Planner to join our team of professionals. This position offers great opportunity for dynamic motivated self-starters to work on a variety of work assignments. Youll be a member of our highly respected team of professionals with a full complement of resources to support you and exciting projects to keep you challenged.

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

• Processing development entitlement applications
• Updating zoning code and development standards
• Assisting with or completing planning studies
• Overseeing CEQA review of projects possibly including preparing IS / MNDs
• Generally supporting local agency planning departments
• Advance / policy planning state and federal permitting procedures and compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) may all be required.
• Experience working for a city or county planning agency in California (as staff or consultant) with experience processing moderately complex to complex development applications is required.

COMPENSATION : Salary Range : $90000 - $125000
