[job_card.job_description]Prepare and mix bagel dough according to recipes and established procedures. Utilize commercial baking machinery to ensure bagels are consistency in size, shape, and texture. Boil bagels in water and bake them in commercial ovens to company standards Monitor proofing and baking times to maintain product quality and freshness Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe work environment. Communicate with coworkers on other shifts to ensure a smooth transition and timely delivery of freshly baked bagels. Proven experience as a baker, specifically in bagel making or similar artisanal breads. Ability to work independently and efficiently during overnight hours. Timeliness is a must! Knowledge of ingredients and their functions in bagel production. Understanding of baking techniques, including mixing, shaping, proofing, and baking. Strong attention to detail and a passion for producing high-quality baked goods. Ability to lift and carry heavy trays and bags of flour (up to 50 lbs).
