Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SPED Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing specialized curriculum and instruction to support to students with unique challenges in classroom settings. Your primary focus will be on creating a safe and inclusive learning environment that allows students to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with a broad range of disabilities.
• Create engaging and interactive lessons that cater to the unique learning needs of students with communication and functional living needs.
• Provide one-on-one and small group instruction to students.
• Collaborate with other members of the special education team to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
• Monitor and track student progress, and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on student performance and progress.
• Participate in professional growth opportunities and foster progressive ideas in best practices in special education delivery models.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid teaching license with a Special Education endorsement.
• Experience working with students with disabilities.
• Strong understanding of best practices in supports and academic interventions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for working with students with diverse learning needs.
