Coding Specialist III

A company is looking for a Coding Specialist III, Remote.

Key Responsibilities

Review and translate patient medical records into codes for insurance claims processing

Provide technical guidance to staff regarding coding issues and ensure compliance with coding principles

Conduct peer reviews and audits of clinical documentation to validate accuracy and support reimbursement

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate's Degree in Medical Billing and Coding preferred

2-3 years of medical coding experience required

In-depth knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems

Strong understanding of coding guidelines and regulations

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
