Now Hiring : Manufacturing Engineer Capital Projects & Machining

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to support and advance our manufacturing and industrial engineering operations. This role plays a critical part in driving production efficiency implementing advanced manufacturing technologies and leading capital equipment and tooling projects.

The ideal candidate brings strong machining expertise hands-on engineering leadership and a passion for continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What Youll Do

As a Manufacturing Engineer you will :

  • Lead engineering projects to maximize production output through optimized machine utilization tooling methods and time standards
  • Evaluate and implement advanced manufacturing technologies automation and mechanization solutions
  • Drive capital equipment and tooling projects from concept through installation and production launch
  • Conduct process reviews equipment layout analysis risk assessments and material flow optimization
  • Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives including Kaizen events and continuous improvement projects
  • Prepare technical reports cost justifications and project proposals
  • Coordinate tooling evaluations testing and vendor partnerships
  • Work closely with CNC programmers machinists and operations teams to improve machining performance
  • Stay current with emerging manufacturing technologies and industry best practices

What Were Looking For

  • Strong project management experience especially with capital equipment and facility improvement projects
  • Hands-on manufacturing engineering background in a machining environment (horizontal boring experience preferred)
  • Deep understanding of machining principles tooling fixturing and manufacturing mathematics
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office AutoCAD (or similar) and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Ability to communicate effectively across engineering operations and leadership teams

    • Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent); advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Manufacturing Engineer
  • PE license preferred
