DLP SERVICES is currently accepting applications for the position of :

POSITION TITLE : Custodian.

FLSA :   Non-Exempt.

Classification : Part-time.

JOB SUMMARY : Maintains the cleanliness of federal facilities to meet client satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

• Ability to perform major janitorial cleaning tasks such as vacuuming (using a 25lb. vacuum daily for 3-4 hours), wet mopping, sweeping, dusting, and emptying the trash (lifting wastepaper and debris-minimum of 55lbs.)
• Cleans and disinfects drinking fountains, and restrooms, including floors and all fixtures (i.e. : Urinals, Toilets, Sinks, Mirrors, Partitions, and Counters).
• Fills dispensers and stocking supplies in restrooms. Wash Windows and Sill (Door Glass).
• Must be willing to work overtime and on weekends as necessary to meet events and facility schedules.
• Must be able to walk up and down stairs frequently, as well as regular bending and standing as needed in a daily shift.
• Performs other related duties as required.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED :

Receives supervision from the Lead Supervisor. The position has no formal assigned supervisory responsibility or authority. Must complete jobs without constant supervision.

This position is subject to the DLP Staffing, Drug-Free Workplace Policy which includes Post-Accident Testing, Random Testing, and / or Reasonable Suspicion Testing.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

Other : Valid Drivers’ License Class C.
