Lab Billing Specialist

A company is looking for a Specialist-Lab Billing.

Key Responsibilities

Manage assigned work queues and resolve outstanding denials in a timely manner

Identify denial trends and provide education to prevent future denials

Compile and respond to reimbursement inquiries while maintaining accurate accounts receivable processes

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

High school graduate

Four years of experience in Medical Billing and Coding

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Good knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-9 / 10 codes

Understanding of insurance explanation of benefits and claims processing
