Mainframe Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer to join our team and support the development maintenance and enhancement of mission-critical applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in COBOL DB2 JCL CICS IMS-DB and other mainframe technologies with a strong focus on application development and 24 / 7 / 365 production support.

Key Responsibilities

Design develop test and implement new and existing business applications.

Provide round-the-clock production support and troubleshoot Mainframe systems to ensure high availability and reliability.

Develop interfaces and reports to support business operations.

Conduct system integration and user acceptance testing.

Review modify and debug existing programs to improve performance and reliability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement enhancements.

Required Qualifications

5 to 15 years of hands-on experience in :

COBOL

DB2

JCL

IMS-DB

CICS

VSAM

Experience in providing 24 / 7 / 365 production support for critical systems.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with job scheduling tools like IWS.

Familiarity with debugging and file management tools.

Exposure to Agile or DevOps environments is a plus.
