Job Description
The Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) will assist with invasive cardiac procedures in the Cardiac Cath / EP Lab. Responsibilities include preparing the procedure room and sterile field, anticipating needed equipment, and operating instruments while maintaining sterility.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the procedure room and setup sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment.
- Anticipate equipment requirements during procedures.
- Function in multiple roles of the procedure team including scrub, circulator, and documenter / monitor.
- Maintain organization and sterility throughout procedures.
