Architecture Librarian and Archivist Job at New River Community College in Norma

Overview The Architecture Librarian and Archivist serves as a library liaison to multiple departments and programs within the Christopher C. Gibbs College of Architecture at the University of Oklahoma, including Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Science, Regional and City Planning, Environmental Design, and Urban Design, as well as the Institute for Quality Communities. The position promotes library resources and services to students, faculty, and staff, including reference assistance, bibliographic searching, library guide development, library instruction, and collection development. It also provides public services for the University Libraries’ architectural archives, including the American School of Architecture Archives, serving Gibbs College users and the general public. The position supports archives use and development through reference and research services, consultation, instruction, outreach, and collection description.

This role supports teaching, research, outreach, technology, programs, and events in a welcoming learning environment. The librarian will serve on library and campus committees and participate in scholarly associations. The position works within the Research and Student Success Division and the Special Research Collections Division.

Target salary : $60,000.
