[job_card.job_description]Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Steam Plant Operations Pumping Systems Ventilating Systems Energy Management Electronics Basic Management Skills Assist in operating maintaining and repairing facility system equipment associated with HVAC mechanical and electrical systems. Respond to customer requests and submit / close work orders as necessary. Perform other duties as assigned. Must meet requirements as prescribed in the Stationary Engineers Apprenticeship Program. Formal knowledge or training in HVAC components (e.g. VAVs air handlers pumps unit ventilators). Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation. Computer skills and familiarity with building automation systems preferred. Certification meeting OSHA ACM awareness training requirements as required. EPA 608 Certification preferred. Electronic information systems Steam and electrically driven rotating machinery Bench and portable tools Nondestructive test equipment Practice safe work habits and maintain a safe work environment for self and others at all times. Promptly report any unsafe practices or conditions to the supervisor for immediate resolution.

The Apprentice Engineer supports the designated leadership team by performing on-the-job training and assisting with the daily operations of building systems.
Pay : $32.86
The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicants experience skills abilities geographic location and alignment with market data.
