Surgical Scrub Tech | Montgomery, Alabama

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in surgical procedures and ensure compliance with operating room protocols.
• Prepare operating rooms and equipment prior to surgeries.
• Support nursing staff in patient care during the perioperative period.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain surgical supplies inventory.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency and experience in Nursing - ORT, or as a Non-certified or Certified Surgical Tech.
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical instruments.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation.
• Current relevant certifications or licensure as required.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including possible nights or weekends.

Schedule/Hours:

• 72-75% commitment, with flexible scheduling based on surgical case volume and department needs.
