Global Applications Engineer
Coilcraft is a successful, privately-held company in Cary, IL with a worldwide reputation for high quality passive electronic components. Coilcraft operates in a wide range of industries, including telecommunication, computers, automotive, broadband communications and consumer electronics. We are seeking an experienced Electronic Component Product Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic components, including but not limited to inductors, capacitors, resistors, diodes, and transistors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and improving the performance of the company's electronic components products by providing support to internal teams, conducting market research, and staying up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify opportunities for new electronic component products and make recommendations for product development.
- Serve as a technical point of contact for customers and sales representatives, answering questions and providing solutions.
- Provide technical support to internal teams, such as sales, marketing, and customer service.
- Conduct market research to stay up to date with industry trends and competition.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales and market share.
- Provide training and education to internal teams and customers on electronic components
- Participate in industry events, such as trade shows and conferences, to stay informed about new products and trends.
