The Asset Protection Division of Protective Life Corporation has been providing F&I solutions for the automotive industry since 1962. We proudly serve thousands of dealerships in the automotive, RV, powersports and marine industries by providing innovative F&I products, training and technology.

SUMMARY:

The Regional Sales Director is responsible for the oversight and directing a network of independent insurance agents to drive sales growth of our specialty(RV, Powersports, Marine) product portfolio in the southwest region of the U.S. This includes acquisition of new customer accounts, maintaining and developing existing specialty dealer relationships, and servicing current agent partnerships

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Drive sales growth by acquiring new business and cultivating new agency relationships.

* Work with agents to develop and execute strategy for sales revenue growth through additional sale of products to existing clients. Gather customer insight and drive solutions to enhance the customer experience.

* Build and maintain relationships with senior level personnel within customer accounts.

* Conducts financial reviews with executive ownership of all dealership groups within their region.

* Utilize CRM to actively track and analyze sales leads and customer interactions to enhance business relationships with customers and drive sales growth.

COMMUNICATIONS:

This position is in continuous contact with external and internal customers. As an ambassador of our company and brand, this position requires strong presentation skills and communication skills.

PROFESSIONAL SPECIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's degree preferred

* Prior sales management experience required

* 5-7 years industry experience preferred

REQUIREMENTS

* Must possess strong leadership abilities, including managing and motivating a team

Strong focus on customer service, which includes excellent listening skills, verbal

communication skills, and interpersonal skills

* Must have a proven track record of developing sales results in an assigned territory.

* Possess an organized approach in problem solving ability

* Must have own vehicle with a good driving record

* Must be able to travel up to 75% of the time by air or car

Protective's targeted compensation for this position is $90k. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to, job location, skills, and experience. The range listed is just one component of Protective's total compensation package for employees.

This position also includes cash compensation as a part of a sales incentive plan (SIP).
