Job Summary

  • Operates hand and machine tools, including welding and cutting equipment, in order to construct clad assemblies.
  • Works at a table on shop floor.
  • Operator Trainees work under direct supervisor.
  • Technicians report directly to the assembly supervisor.
  • Assemble components by hand to build complete units that are then packaged to send to the customer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Follow all safety, environmental, quality and 5S rules, regulations and requirements.
  • Read and implement set-up sheets for clad assemblies.
  • Perform tasks such as metal cleaning, taping, sawing and hand grinding to assist other assembly techs in construction of clad assemblies.
  • Inspect all equipment before use and perform operator maintenance when needed.
  • Report any unsafe equipment conditions to Area Lead and Area Manager.
  • Monitor and ensure safe work habits and tool use in assigned areas.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings such as safety riles, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
  • Ability to stand / walk at a workstation for an extended period of time.
  • Ability to use hands with continuous repetitive motion while picking up / gathering materials up to 50 lbs.

    • Qualifications

  • Must Pass ATF background screening
  • Must Pass Drug Screen
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time.
