A company is looking for a VP of Global Supply Chain to oversee global supply chain operations in the pharmaceutical / biotechnology sector.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a global team overseeing clinical and commercial supply chain operations
Develop and execute global supply chain strategies, including demand forecasting and inventory management
Oversee supplier relationships and ensure compliance and timely delivery of products
Required Qualifications
Minimum 15 years of experience in supply chain management or manufacturing in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific discipline; APICS certification preferred
Proven expertise in demand planning, inventory management, and global distribution
Strong leadership experience managing global teams and vendor relationships; proficiency with ERP systems
In-depth knowledge of GMP / GCP / GDP regulations and the drug development lifecycle
