Boiler Operator

If you're detail-oriented, have good communication skills, and can work independently, join our team today as a Boiler Operator / Technician at our Timken Facility. Our ideal candidate will have experience working with and operating a full Boiler System, have troubleshooting skills, and the foresight to keep the system running efficiently. Responsibilities :

• Safely operate and control multiple boilers across different types of fuels
• Preventative maintenance of boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air compressors, and support equipment
• Pump maintenance, as well as piping and valve needs
• Daily checks and logs during shift to ensure optimum operation, including water testing and chemical additions
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment in the scope of operation
• Electrical work as needed : 24-Volt DC control voltage up to 480-Volt 3-phase AC to include switches and VFDs Qualifications :
• Minimum of 1 year of plant boiler / powerhouse operation
• Basic skills in welding, pipefitting, and power tools
• Ability to work around chemicals
• Understanding of powerhouse equipment and the continual improvement process Compensation : $27+ hourly DOE
