Role name : Drupal Developer

Role Description :

  • Experience with command-line tools, including Drush
  • Basic understanding of Acquia BLT, Acquia Cloud Pipelines and Travis CI
  • Solid knowledge of MySQL and proficiency with developing highly scalable database interactions
  • Practical experience in design, implementation, testing and deployment of enterprise scale Drupal web applications
  • Support site operations and respond to performance issues
  • Ready to extend the work wherever its required on priority basis.
  • Adheres to department standards, policies, procedures and industry best practices.

Competencies :

Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF), Digital : Drupal

Experience (Years) : 8-10

Essential Skills :

We are looking for a Drupal 9.x Developer responsible for front-end and back-end development and maintenance of the sites hosted on Acquia cloud. The best candidates have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems. An understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment and testing is preferred.

Desirable Skills : Required Skills :

  • Proficient in Drupal 9.x, including custom module development, key contributed modules and core API.
  • Experience in Acquia Cloud Site Factory(ACSF) is must
  • Development and maintenance of new and existing Drupal themes
  • Proficient in the maintenance and administration of Drupal modules and sites.
  • Experience in creating RESTful web services using Drupal
  • Solid understanding of PHP, AJAX, HTML, Javascript, jQuery, JSON and CSS
  • Experience integrating open source and third-party applications into existing systems.
  • Familiarity with source control systems such as Subversion, Git and VSTS.
  • Agile Development and Continuous Integration using tools such as Jenkins
