[job_card.job_description]Able to work safely and set an example of safe working habits for his / her coworkers Ability to understand and perform the various tasks to standards established for the department Ability to meet the physical requirements; lifting 50 lbs. climbing ladders and stairs standing for prolonged periods Knowledge of basic mathematical skills Work experience specific to the department preferred Must have a good employment record Must be able to understand and follow all written SSOPs Must be able to understand MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check Good leadership and interpersonal skills Ability to read written instructions and communicate verbally in English with management and hourly employees; bilingual English / Spanish (beneficial) Ability to give instructions and follow-up with hourly employees
Rate of pay : $20.50 per hour
Hours : 3 : 30pm - 12 : 00am
Position Summary : The primary function of this position is to lead warehouse activities under the Warehouse Supervisors guidance to support daily operations.
Position responsibilities :
- Transport items to be shipped into the trailer with Forklift and using the loading plan and secure the load when trailer is complete.
- Move out going products from staging area to the loading dock with forklift.
- Obtain work schedule from supervisor obtain supplies required to perform the work and prepare for operations.
- Perform daily safety check of the assigned lift truck in accordance with company policy.
- Manage rotation of raw and work-in-process (WIP) inventory.
- At the end of shift clean and secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.
- Transport finished goods from production lines to warehouse storage or staging area with a forklift.
- Inspect empty trailers at the loading dock to insure they are clean and clear before loading and take appropriate action as needed.
- Remove empty pallets cardboard packing and strapping to the proper area or receptacles.
- Inspect and stack empty pallets remove broken or damaged pallets and clean trailers as required.
- Remove scrap from warehouse areas clean and maintain lift and change propane as needed.
- Conduct daily cycle counts.
