Location: Lakeland, FL
Shift: Full Time
Salary: $48 – $53 per hour
Charming Lakes Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Physical Therapist to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. If you’re passionate about improving residents’ quality of life and helping them regain independence, we’d love to hear from you!
Evaluate residents and develop personalized treatment goals and comprehensive therapy plans.
Provide therapeutic interventions to improve gait, muscle strength, coordination, endurance, and mobility.
Design, fit, and train residents in the use of adaptive equipment, orthotics, and prosthetics.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to determine the most effective therapeutic approach.
Instruct residents in mobility techniques, monitor progress, and adjust treatment programs as needed.
Participate in resident care meetings and contribute to individualized care planning.
Supervise and mentor supportive rehabilitation personnel, ensuring compliance with professional and state standards.
Conduct in-service training sessions and share expertise with nursing and medical staff.
Maintain therapy equipment and ensure a safe, organized, and well-supplied work environment.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Physical Therapist (nursing home experience preferred).
License: Current, active, and unencumbered Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
Technical Skills: Experience with Rehab Optima and PointClickCare preferred.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
