Job Title: Electrical Technician

Job Summary:
Our client in Roseville, MI is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Technician to join their team. The Electrical Technician is responsible for installing, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. This role requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair wiring, electrical systems, and fixtures in accordance with electrical codes and schematics.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and tools.
• Assemble electrical components and panels for machinery or systems.
• Assist in the design and layout of new electrical systems or modifications.
• Document work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other technicians to support project needs.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification or associate degree in electrical technology or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience as an electrical technician or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and codes (e.g., NEC).
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, electrical testing equipment (multimeters, megohmmeters, etc.).
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license (if travel is required); electrical license/certification may be required depending on location.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position; may include overtime, weekend, or on-call hours.
• Work may be performed in industrial, commercial, or construction environments.
• May involve working at heights, in confined spaces, or outdoors in various weather conditions.

Pay: $17.00/hr

Shift: 1st shift
