About The Position

We are seeking a Gastroenterologist for a locum tenens assignment in Georgia, beginning Dec 29, 2025. This opportunity offers a 245-day contract with day shifts Monday through Friday, including both advanced and general procedures, and a half day of clinic once a week.

  • Start Date : Dec 29, 2025
  • LOA : 245 days
  • Provider Type Needed : Gastroenterologist
  • Schedule : Monday to Friday, 7 : 30 am to 5 : 00 pm; one half-day clinic per week; 1-4 weeks per month; weekend call can be added

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform advanced endoscopic procedures, including ERCP and EUS
  • Conduct both outpatient and general gastroenterology procedures
  • Provide care during scheduled day shifts and participate in clinic activities
  • Ensure high-quality patient care and adhere to all clinical protocols
  • Utilize Meditech EHR for patient documentation

    • Additional Information

  • Current Georgia medical license required
  • Board certification in Gastroenterology required
  • Ability to credential within 60-90 days
