Job Summary :
The Expert Contract Manager will oversee multiple high-value, strategic third-party contracts within the organization's Propel SAP S / 4HANA modernization program . This role ensures compliance, manages vendor relationships, and drives contract performance improvement across large-scale digital transformation initiatives. Acting as a key advisor to leadership, this position balances risk, negotiation, compliance, and business alignment in support of critical enterprise modernization goals.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead supplier relationship management for critical system integration partnersManage complex contracts and amendments, ensuring risk mitigation and complianceDevelop advanced scorecards to assess contract performanceIndependently facilitate vendor performance reviews and negotiationsCreate and implement innovative strategies for contract and compliance challengesLead cross-functional process improvement initiativesTrain internal stakeholders on contract policy and compliance standardsProvide QA / QC oversight for contract performance monitoringDevelop and execute audit plans for contract complianceTrack obligations and renewals across the Propel ERP transformation programIdentify, analyze, and resolve compliance risks or discrepanciesConduct inspections and audits to ensure adherence to agreementsPrepare and present reports on contract performance outcomesRequired Experience :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience7+ years of contract management in large-scale digital transformations (e.g., SAP / ERP system integrators, professional services)Strong record of managing sophisticated contracts and preventing value leakageNice-to-Have Experience :
Master's degree in business, law, or related fieldCertifications : PMP, PgMP, Lean Six Sigma Yellow BeltUtility industry or pipeline construction experienceQA / QC experience with contract documentationProcess improvement and continuous improvement expertiseRequired Skills :
Expert-level contract management and vendor negotiation skillsStrong knowledge of compliance, regulations, and risk mitigationAbility to resolve conflicts constructively and achieve win-win outcomesExcellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skillsAdvanced Microsoft Office proficiencyExperience with SRM, Ariba, SAP, or other contract management softwarePreferred Skills :
