LVN/RN Nursing Instructor

Requirement
License: A current, active California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.

Experience as LVN/RN Minimum of two years experience as an LVN or RN within the last five years.

Academic / Educational Background
One of the following:
• A baccalaureate (4-year) degree from an approved school, LVN degree, or AND degree; or
• A valid teaching credential; or
• At least one-year full-time teaching experience in a state approved vocational nursing or practical nursing school within the last five years

Competence:
Must demonstrate clinical competence in the subject area being taught (skills, theory, or clinical instruction).
