Job Title : Sr Accountant

Job Description

We’re looking for a highly organized and proactive Sr Accountant to join our team. In this role, you’ll partner closely with the SAP S / 4HANA implementation team, manage core accounting functions, and drive initiatives to improve processes and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the SAP S / 4HANA implementation team to facilitate the transition from Sage 500 to SAP.
• Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations, journal postings, and preparation of financial statements.
• Assist with audit requirements by providing documentation and preparing financial footnotes.
• Backfill core accounting duties during close and audit cycles to ensure continuity.
• Transition into recurring day-to-day accounting responsibilities starting February, enabling internal team members to focus on SAP testing.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills to manage reporting and reconciliation tasks.
• Engage in discussions with the implementation team and contribute ideas for process improvements.

Work Environment

This position reports directly to a Director and operates in a collaborative, team-oriented environment while offering opportunities for independent work. The role requires extensive use of Excel and strong communication skills to effectively partner with the implementation team and drive process improvements.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Miami, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $62.00 / hr.
