Your responsibilities

Job Summary

The Welder is responsible for performing high-quality welding operations on metal components, with a focus on engine block fabrication and repair. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to follow engineering specifications and safety standards. The welder will identify and repair sparsity in engine blocks to ensure structural integrity and performance.

Shift : Sunday - Thursday 10 : 00pm - 6 : 30am

Key Accountabilities :

Welding Operations :

• Fabricate and weld products to meet production expectations.
• Perform advanced welding techniques including GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding), FCAW (Flux Core Arc Welding), and qualify in 2F / 2G (Horizontal), 3F / 3G (Vertical / Uphill), and 4F / 4G (Overhead) positions.
• Weld using standard work sequences and identify variances using andon systems.
• Use oxygen / propylene flame for straightening and cutting.
• Operate other industrial equipment such as rigging and cranes for weldment movement.
