Platform Engineer

Job Overview : We are seeking a skilled and motivated Platform Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, and .NET development. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust DevOps pipelines, creating reusable Terraform modules, and developing APIs and Azure Functions using .NET Core. Key Responsibilities : Design and implement CI / CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (ADO) to enable seamless application deployment and monitoring. Develop reusable and scalable Terraform modules for infrastructure automation and provisioning. Work on .NET Core development, including creating APIs and Azure Functions, ensuring high performance and reliability. Write and maintain Shell Scripts and YAML configuration files for automation and orchestration. Manage and administer Azure resources, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring. Utilize Git for source control and versioning, ensuring effective collaboration within the team. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the infrastructure and application meet business and technical requirements. (Optional) Work with Cosmos DB for database development and optimizations. Leverage Azure CLI scripting to enhance automation and resource management workflows. Required Skills and Qualifications : .NET Development : Expertise in .NET Core development, including APIs and Azure Functions. Infrastructure as Code : Proficiency in Terraform for creating scalable infrastructure modules. DevOps : Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps (ADO) and CI / CD pipelines. Automation : Experience with Shell Scripting and YAML for configuration management. Cloud Administration : Hands-on experience with Azure administration and development. Source Control : Proficient in Git for version control and collaboration. Problem-Solving : Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and implement robust solutions. Preferred Skills : Knowledge of Cosmos DB development. Experience with JSON for configurations and integrations. Familiarity with Azure CLI scripting for enhanced automation.
