Shipping and Receiving Associate

Syndeo Staffing has a temp-to-hire opportunity for a Shipping & Receiving Associate for a local metal processing company at their Heat Treat facility. This position is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining inventory organization. This role requires forklift operation, computer proficiency, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. regularly. Permanent placement is available for individuals who consistently meet performance and attendance expectations

Pay Range: $18–$20/hour

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday (Overtime as needed)

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments
• Prepare and package outgoing materials for delivery
• Operate forklift safely to move and store products
• Apply banding material to secure loads
• Maintain accurate inventory records using computer systems
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift 25–40 lbs regularly
• Basic computer skills
• Forklift experience required
• Knowledge of banding material use
• Knowledge of measuring equipment and use of weigh scales
• Previous experience with outgoing shipments with common carriers(UPS, FEDEX, ETC.) preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
