Responsibilities, Authorities and Accountabilities :
All job responsibilities are to be executed in harmony with our Quality Procedures, the Code of Business Conduct & Ethics and the Operating Principles which sets the standard by which we operate and how we treat others.
- This position is responsible for the assembly of finished products, components, or sub-assemblies for oil and gas control valves, controllers, and chemical injection pumps
- This position works under close supervision
- Individual contributor
- Regular attendance and punctuality are expected upon accepting this position
- Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures required including steeled toed shoes, safety glasses and other Personal Protective Equipment that is required in certain areas of the facility.

Essential Functions :
Read work instructions, work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies, and / or receive verbal instructions regarding required dutiesInterpret assembly instructions, drawings, schematics, and engineering specifications to build / test quality productsAssemble different parts of manufactured products using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipmentCompletely assemble, test and package product built on the lineOccasionally disassemble and repair products returned by customerSet up moderate to semi‐complex test equipment on a variety of products to measure and record assembly conformance to test specificationsSet up test stands with appropriate plumbing for pneumatic and hydrostatic tests from required product test specificationsComplete required test documentation including test reportsInspect, understand, and document all materials, heat numbers, components, subassemblies, and specifications to assure they meet the accepted quality standardsComplete required inspection documentation, marking of heat numbers and nameplateParticipate in Lean events with active involvement in CI initiatives

Candidate must reside in : Houston TX, or surrounding areaWork week and shift : 5AM to 3 : 30PM, Monday through Friday; 5AM to 11AM, Saturdays and rare occasion Sunday work may be requested.Assembly training will be provided for entry level candidatesNew hire onboarding is provided with safety training, quality, and HR trainingOn the job training provided on processes, procedures, and product assemblyImmigration sponsorship is not provided for this positionClimate controlled warehouse, standing workstation, strenuous work often requiredUniforms provided by company upon regular employmentPPE required steel toe and puncture resistant shoes; all other PPE provided by the companyMinimum Qualifications :
High school diploma, GED or equivalentAt least one year of related experience in fast-paced manufacturing environmentPreferred Qualifications :
At least one year of experience in the assembly and testing of the following types of products : relief valves, chemical injection pumps, control / dump / check valves, butterfly valves, liquid level controllers / switchesExperience in oil and gas products with high mix and high-volume manufacturingExperience with little direct supervision while operating alone and meeting expectations for quality and productivityExperience with manufacturing line setups and documentationAbility to read and interpret assembly drawings and Bills of Material (BOM)Experience in properly and safely operating some type of assembly and testing equipmentExperience using hand tools, power tools, presses, assembly equipment and product test equipmentCompany Description
