Carrier Procurement Representative for LogisticsBrokerage

TCI is hiring a Carrier Procurement Representative on our Brokerage team! The Carrier Procurement Rep will report directly to the Director of Carrier Procurement. This role requires great communication skills, energetic personality, and a strong work ethic. We are looking for someone that possesses a self-starter mentality who can provide ownership and accountability while working through complex situations. Monday-Friday: 8am-5pm Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Secure brokered trucks to assigned shipments needed to provide an excellent customer service experience. Manage the relationship between the carrier and the company. Build strong relationships with carriers by staying in constant communication to ensure day-to-day and long-term needs are met. Demonstrates industry knowledge and ability and can apply the competency in new or complex situations. Leverage organizational skills to manage multiple carriers and shipments. Why choose TCI? Internal growth opportunities for high performers. Additional Requirements Transportation experience brokering freight is preferred. McLeod software experience is a plus. Inside sales or account management experience within the transportation industry is preferred. Strong work ethic and self-driven. Confident decision-making skills and ability to maintain composure in stressful situations. Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook is preferred. College degree is a plus.
