Role / Tier : Tableau BI Lead

Key responsibility :

• 10 + years of experience in Data warehousing and Business Intelligence technologies
• Very strong in SQL reporting, Data analytics and business intelligence
• Good work experience in full data warehouse development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to testing, implementation, and support.
• Very strong knowledge on ETL process.
• Excellent technical and analytical skills with clear understanding of design goals of ER modeling for OLTP and dimension modeling for OLAP.
• Good work experience in various Business Intelligence applications like Tableau / Spotfire / BOBJ.
• Good work experience in administration tasks such as publishing workbooks, setting permissions, managing ownerships, providing access to the users and adding them to the specific group and scheduled instances for reports in BI tools.
• Very strong SQL knowledge
• Good understanding of Dimensional Modeling like Star Schema, Snow Flake Schemas, Fact and dimensional tables.
• Experience in implementing of Dimensional Hierarchies, slowly changing dimensions
• Good understanding of business environment, excellent communication skill and ability to work proactively in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of communicating effectively with colleagues and business users.
• Good experience in both agile and waterfall development methods.
• Good experience in performance tuning, code debugging.
• Knowledge on HADOOP, Hive.
