About the Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated, sales-minded professional to join our rapidly growing Farmers Insurance agency as a Paid Insurance Apprentice. This is a structured, hands-on development opportunity for individuals interested in building a long-term career in the insurance industry. As a Paid Apprentice, you will receive direct mentorship from an experienced Agency Owner, participate in ongoing district-level training, and gain real-world experience across sales, customer service, and agency operations. This role is designed for someone who is coachable, driven, and eager to learn within a proven system.

Career Path and Growth

Total compensation, including base pay and commissions, can exceed $100,000 annually for the right candidate. Earning potential is uncapped and supported by structured training, ongoing mentorship, and a clearly defined advancement path. High-performing apprentices who are interested in becoming Farmers Agency Owners will receive priority consideration, with financial requirements waived.

Responsibilities

You will support daily agency operations under the guidance of the Agency Owner. You will develop and maintain client relationships through agency-provided leads and opportunities. You will learn to market and sell auto, home, life, and business insurance products while building strong foundational sales skills. You will participate in structured training through the District Office and University of Farmers, gaining the knowledge, confidence, and licensing support needed to advance.

Requirements

An active California Property and Casualty or Personal Lines insurance license is required. Candidates should have a verifiable interest or background in insurance sales and customer service. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
