Job Description

We are actively seeking a committed On-Site Computer Repair Technician who specializes in hardware repairs and installations for laptops and desktops. Your prior experience with hardware components in these devices will enable you to excel in this role.

Job Details:

• This position operates on a 1099/per call basis.
• Compensation is based on completed service calls.
• Service call payment starts at $35, with additional increases based on travel distance.
• Pay periods are every Friday, starting after your first week of work.
• Service calls are available Monday through Friday during daytime hours. Candidates must commit to a minimum of 3 weekdays for availability.
• Call volume typically ranges from 2 to 5 calls per day.
• Your onboarding will include free online certifications from Dell and Lenovo.
• A reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license are required to visit multiple job sites throughout your working day.
• Internet access and a computer are necessary to log into your daily tech portal.
• You must log into your tech portal by 9 AM each workday to code your calls and plan your route.
• All troubleshooting is completed by the manufacturer prior to ticket issuance.
• You will confirm service times with customers through your tech portal and provide services at their locations, either residential or commercial.
• Daily pickups for parts will be done at designated FedEx or UPS locations, and you will return any unused parts at the end of each day using the pre-paid labels provided.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with replacing components in laptops and desktops is required.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are mandatory.
• Comfort with daily local travel is essential.
