Insurance Sales Agent

The Responsibilities

• Meet new business production and retention goals and objectives as established.
• Solicit new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
• Obtain accurate info to develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
• Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Property Managers, Bookkeepers, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
• Learn and understand the product offerings available and become an expert in advising our clients on how to mitigate risk

Special Skill Requirements

• Property and Casualty license is required for this role!

Educational Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• College degree is a plus

This position is with a Farmers independent contractor agent, not with Farmers Insurance Companies. Employees of Farmers agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs. Farmers agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees. Farmers agents’ employees are not employees of Farmers.

This is a Full-Time, permanent position.
