Endocrinology Faculty Opportunity

Baystate Health is a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system in western Massachusetts which consists of an academic medical center, three community hospitals and the regions largest multispecialty group. Our flagship hospital, Baystate Medical Center, is home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School-Baystate. We are seeking an experienced Endocrinologist to join our faculty.

Position Highlights:

• Join our growing division of 8 endocrinologists, 4 advanced practitioners, 4 fellows, and a support team which includes diabetes educators, RDs, and RNs.
• Enjoy a combination of clinical care & teaching with a faculty appointment to UMass Chan Medical School-Baystate. Clinical research and QI, safety, and population science projects are available and encouraged.
• Great mix of outpatient general endocrinology and inpatient consults, practicing primarily at Baystate Medical Center, a 716-bed academic hospital in Springfield, MA.
• Leadership is committed to your professional satisfaction and work/life balance - call is 1:7 weekends and led by endocrine fellows, prorated to FTE.
• Work with fellows in our endocrine fellowship program, alongside internal medicine and med/peds residents, medical students, and APP students.
• Our robust program includes a Diabetes Self-Management Education program, our one-stop thyroid clinic, and our multi-disciplinary thyroid cancer program.

Qualifications: ABMS BE/BC in Endocrinology

The compensation ranges in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidates relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.

Endocrinology: $227,200 - $320,000
