Inventory Accountant

Staff Accountant Emeryville, CA

We're looking for a detail-driven Staff / Inventory Accountant to support the financial accuracy of the retail locations. In this role, you'll oversee store inventory records, verify that product counts align across multiple sites, and ensure the financial books reflect real-time activity.

This position plays a key part in the monthly close processpreparing financial entries, reviewing account activity, and generating clear, organized reports for leadership. You'll also work within enterprise accounting systems (such as Oracle or SAP) to input and review inventory-related transactions. You will join the team in office three days a week in Emeryville, CA.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and reconcile inventory balances for retail stores across the network
• Complete month-end accounting tasks, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Investigate and analyze general ledger activity related to inventory
• Process adjustments, transfers, and other inventory transactions in our ERP platform
• Build and maintain accurate spreadsheets and financial reports using Microsoft Excel
