Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Onsite - Seattle
Pay Rate: $28-$34 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a growing accounting team in Seattle. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle accounts receivable process, ensuring accurate invoicing, timely collections, and maintaining strong relationships with customers. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with high-volume transactions, and the ability to effectively communicate with both internal teams and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payment and follow up on outstanding balances
• Perform daily cash application and reconcile incoming payments (ACH, wire, check, and credit card)
• Maintain and reconcile accounts receivable aging reports
• Communicate with customers regarding billing discrepancies, payment status, and account inquiries
• Research and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies
• Prepare regular reporting on AR aging and collections activity
• Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts receivable
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
• Support audit requests and maintain organized AR files

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of accounts receivable, billing, or collections experience
• Experience working with high invoice or transaction volumes
• Strong understanding of accounting principles related to receivables
• Proficiency with accounting or ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar)
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work onsite in Seattle

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with automated billing or AR systems
• Experience preparing aging reports and collection analysis
• Experience working in a mid-size or growing organization
