Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in manufacturing, construction, or industrial settings and be proficient in reading blueprints and using precision tools.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Install, align, and dismantle machinery and heavy equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems
  • Operate hoists, cranes, and other rigging equipment to move machinery
  • Use precision measuring tools to ensure proper alignment and fit
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and recommend solutions
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Collaborate with engineers and other tradespeople on installations and repairs

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship preferred
  • Proven experience as a millwright or in a similar mechanical role
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
  • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools, welding, and fabrication
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
