About the Opportunity :

As a Maintenance Technician, you will provide mechanical, electrical and control support to production machining, NPI, and facilities. Supporting a large variety of machine configurations and OEMs are supported including 5+ axis mill turn applications, lathes, boring machines, broaches, compressed air systems, etc.

The Machine Maintenance Technicians are responsible for repair, preventative maintenance and modification of that machinery. The position will require collaboration and critical thinking to troubleshoot unique equipment issues and develop quick resolutions in a demanding environment.

This is a hands-on role in a manufacturing setting and is ideal for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a high-performing team.

Location : Plainville, CT

This role is 100% onsite and is not eligible for remote or hybrid work.

Responsibilities :

• Maintain and repair all assets to ensure their proper operating condition
• Provide preventative and correct maintenance on various complex CNCs : 5 axis milling, mill turn applications, and lathes
• Schedule and execute on-time preventative maintenance plans for a variety of machines across production areas
• Troubleshoot, and repair control and electrical system failures involving PLCs, HMIs, servomotors, servo amplifiers, input / output, and field sensors
• Troubleshoot and repair various machine tool hydraulic and pneumatic systems including actuators, valves, pumps, and filters
• Troubleshoot and repair machine tool mechanical systems including ballscrews, linear rails, guideways, and gearboxes
• Drive forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and company vehicles
• Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment
