Large In-Home Care Agency with a small family feel seeking to hire an individual who has a heart to serve and has expereince caring for cleints with dementia/alzheimers in Carencro!

Schedule:

Open Availability. Mornings, Evenings and Nights

Responsibilities could include:

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for the elderly/disabled

• Remind clients to take prescribed medication

• Help with mobility

• Assist with personal care

• Plan and prepare meals

• Perform housekeeping duties

• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so

• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Qualifications

• 18 or older

• Must be willing and able to submit to and pass a drug screen, motor vehicle record check, and criminal background check

• Prior verifiable experience with all ADL's including changing, dressing, bathing, transferring (at least 1 year, family care included) *preferred

• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations

• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation to and from work every single day

• Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner

• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards

• Supportive and compassionate

• Take pride in providing high quality care

• Comfortable working with Memory Care Clients
