Why is this position open : Backfill for a previous contractor - SCDMV Information Technology is a professional information processing group dedicated to maintaining and improving IT functions and reliability for the ultimate benefit of citizens of South Carolina.

Interview Process : 2 rounds In-person preferred / will consider Teams as well

Duration of the Contract : 12 months

Possibility for Extension : Yes

Work Location : Initially 100% on-site for SCDMV orientation and system familiarization. Hybrid is possible at SCDMVs discretion.

Candidate Location : Candidate MUST be a SC resident or willing to relocate / commute to SC prior to starting the role at their own expense.

Daily Duties / Responsibilities :

• Analyze the SCDMV Phoenix II Web Service and batch business applications
• Take the lead in analyzing and trouble-shooting assigned system problems
• Propose solutions
• Code test promote and interact with impacted users ensuring that solution meets requirements.
• Provide daily and weekly status to the development manager

Required Education :

Prefer Bachelors Degree in Information Technology related discipline with 8 years of experience or minimum 10 years related experience.

Required Certifications :

Not required but MS technical certifications will be factored in the selection process.

Microfocus Certifications are a significant advantage
