[job_card.job_description]Strong experience in construction and real estate accounting , managing multiple entities. Expertise in JDE (mandatory) , MS Office, and Excel ( VLOOKUPs, PivotTables ). Solid understanding of cost segregation and property tax appeals. Experience with loan and closing journal entries as well as audit preparation. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
A dynamic opportunity has opened for an Assistant Corporate Controller to join a growing construction and real estate organization. This role is to replace a current employee and requires a highly skilled accounting professional with deep technical expertise and a proven track record managing multi-entity operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare closing statement and loan closing journal entries .
- Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.
- Manage job cost accounting for construction and real estate projects.
- Support corporate banking functions and financial reporting.
- Oversee cost segregation and property tax appeal processes .
- Collaborate across departments to ensure accurate financial management for multiple entities.
