The Department of Pathology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor. Responsibilities include clinical service in the Cytopathology Division, which has an annual volume of 35,000 and includes a very active fine needle aspiration/core biopsy interventional service. The Surgical Pathology Division offers subspecialty sign-out, and both areas work closely with other divisions of the department, including Hematopathology and Diagnostic Molecular Pathology. In addition to clinical responsibilities and research, faculty are expected to play an active role in the teaching and training of medical students, residents, and fellows.
Qualified candidates will hold an MD or MD/PhD and be board certified in AP or AP/CP and board certified/eligible in cytopathology from the American Board of Pathology. The candidate must be eligible for an unrestricted medical license in the state of Illinois. Fellowship training in oncologic surgical pathology or subspecialty area of surgical pathology is desirable. Rank and remuneration determined by qualification and experience.
The start date is negotiable, and the position will remain open until filled.
The expected base pay range for this position is $250,000 - $300,000.

The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including years since terminal degree, training, and field or discipline; departmental budget availability; internal comparators; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
