National Accounts Mgr.

Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a National Accounts Manager to join our team in a field position. The National Accounts Manager will promote and sell YMFC-US finance offerings to our internal and external Marine business partners. They will also be responsible for prospecting new partnerships, developing current relationships, and maintaining a top-down focus and strategy that stays aligned with overall company targets and strategies.

What you’ll be doing:

• Achieve sales specific growth and penetration targets on an annual basis. Manage and grow sales and accounts to achieve company goals.
• Prospect and develop new accounts both within the current network and in adjacent markets as well as service the accounts to ensure their continued success.
• Increase Marine Group engagement by working directly with their management team(s) by creating value through data preparation, program construction, and consultative relationship management.
• Establish strategic relationships with our identified group of largest customers, demonstrate strong customer service and effective management of accounts.
• Identify any operational issues that might arise and escalates to senior management to resolve them with the appropriate internal teams.
• Set up and perform monthly meetings with partners to align strategies and review opportunities.
• Provide YMFC-US team members direction for increasing engagement within the Marine business.
• Develop Dealer Council strategy, goals, and key deliverables.

What you’ll need to be successful:

• College Degree or 5+ years industry experience.
• 3+ years of Sales or Sales Management Experience.
• Experience with the Finance Sector preferred and is a plus.
• Computer Skills, MS Office, Excel, Power Point
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
• Ability travel 50%, including some weekends.
