Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced OBGYN Hospitalist / Physician to work locum shifts in Nevada County, California (1 hour outside of Sacramento) (CA). Starting as soon as possible, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.

The Obstetrics and Gynecology role :

• Need : Locums starting August thru December for maternity coverage.
• Setting : Hospital setting with a dedicated Family Birthing Center (L&D floor) which has its own OR for C-sections.
• Duties : Deliveries (average 23-30 deliveries per month), C-sections, ED call coverage for OB / GYN related issues.
• Required Procedures : All OBGYN. Specific procedures TBD
• EMR : Cerner
• Support Staff : Anaesthesiologists (1 on-call after hours and on weekends for OR's and FBC) General Surgeons, 3 local OB / GYN's, 1 Family Medicine OB, Pediatrician on-call, experienced and skilled Respiratory Therapists.
