Join our dedicated team at UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, CO, as a Sterile Processing Technician. This is a full-time role, working 80 hours every two weeks during the night shift, offering a pay range of $20.26 to $26.34 per hour based on your relevant experience.

This position requires onsite participation and does not provide a hybrid or remote option.

Summary : This role involves mastering essential sterile processing functions to ensure the safety and efficiency of medical instruments.

Responsibilities :

• Thoroughly decontaminate and clean instruments and equipment, following established instructions for use (IFUs) while effectively disassembling items for appropriate cleaning methods.
• Conduct visual inspections of instruments and equipment to ensure proper assembly and packaging.
• Execute sterilization processes for instruments and equipment according to IFUs, verifying that all external indicators, filters, and labels are accurate.
• Document activities using both software and paper records as required.
• Utilize critical thinking and decisive judgment to work independently in a dynamic environment.
