Controls Engineer / Automation Engineer
Plant Automation Controls Specialist / Tech / Engineer
- LOCATION - South of Atlanta / Macon GA area, onsite work ( NO Remote / Hybrid options, work is at PLANT LOCATION)
- We are looking for multiple professionals with the below listed experience, at either a TECHNICIAN or a DEGREED ENGINEERING level, all roles require strong PLC / Controls programming experience as described.
- RELOCATION ASSISTANCE is available for qualified, but NON LOCAL applicants.
We are seeking a skilled Plant Automation Controls Technician or Engineer to enhance our manufacturing processes through effective automation solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of control systems that optimize production efficiency and ensure operational safety.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement PLC programs for various manufacturing processesDesign and maintain control systems, ensuring compliance with safety standardsTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation and control systemsCollaborate with engineering teams to integrate SCADA and HMI systemsConduct routine inspections and maintenance of instrumentation and roboticsProvide technical support and training for plant personnel on automation technologiesEnsure that all electrical controls and wiring meet industry standardsQualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related fieldProven experience in PLC programming and automation within a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of control systems, instrumentation, and industrial controlsFamiliarity with SCADA and HMI development toolsExperience with Allen Bradley and Rockwell Automation products preferredExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a teamStrong understanding of safety standards and practices in automationI can share more about the COMPANY, the opportunity, package offered, and if you would like to be considered, reach me at russ.holland@cybercoders.com and I will follow up.
