Great Livin' LLC is seeking a motivated and compassionate Entry-Level Behavior Support Clinician who is eager to develop advanced skills in positive behavior supports, clinical assessment, and interdisciplinary teamwork. This position is ideal for a newer clinician or recent graduate who wants hands-on experience with strong supervision and guidance from the Clinical Director while assisting with an established caseload.

🔹 Position Overview
The Behavior Support Consultant works in partnership with and under the supervision of the Clinical Director. This role provides meaningful opportunities to learn the full behavior consultation process while supporting the Clinical Director with assessments, documentation, data review, planning, and IDT collaboration.
The clinician will gradually take on more responsibility as skills expand and competency is demonstrated.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
Assessment & Clinical Support
Participate in behavioral assessments through observation, interviewing, and information gathering.
Assist in reviewing clinical history, collateral information, and behavioral data.
Help identify behavioral needs and contributing factors under supervision.
Behavior Support Planning & Documentation
Assist in drafting PBSPs and PBSAs with direct guidance from the Clinical Director.
Support development of prevention strategies, reinforcement systems, and skill-building recommendations.
Help create data-tracking tools and maintain organized documentation.
Interdisciplinary Team Participation
Attend IDT meetings with and report back to the Clinical Director and assist with follow-up tasks.
Help coordinate communication with provider agencies, families, and support staff.
Provide clarifications, scheduling assistance, and plan updates as directed.
Training & Coaching Support
Support preparation of training materials for staff who implement support plans.
Observe Clinical Director–led training sessions and assist as appropriate.
Contribute to ongoing guidance for support staff as they learn new strategies.
Data Collection & Progress Review
Support data collection processes and ensure documentation is complete and timely.
Assist in reviewing behavioral data and identifying trends.
Help prepare quarterly or semiannual progress updates.
Skill Development Work
Participate in teaching replacement behaviors, coping skills, and social / functional skills under supervision.
Support reinforcement strategies that promote individual progress.
Clinical Administration
Assist with caseload organization, compliance tasks, and required documentation.
Track deadlines, meetings, plan revisions, and case milestones.
Contribute to maintaining high standards of clinical quality and regulatory compliance.

🔹 Education / Experience Requirements
Because this is an entry-level clinician role , we welcome applicants who meet one of the following :
Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or related field
OR
Graduate students who recently completed their degree and are pursuing licensure
🔹 Additional Requirements
Ability to obtain or maintain New Mexico behavioral health licensure.
Completion of required DDSD trainings upon hire.
Participation in regular supervision meetings with the Clinical Director.
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance.
Reliable computer, internet, and phone connection.
Professional liability insurance (once engaging in direct service).
Mandatory reporting of suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
