Please Note :

  • This is 100% On-Site position.
  • Selected candidate must be willing to work on-site in Woodlawn, MD 5 days a week.

Position Description :

  • ​Analyze ETL jobs and the data feeds and make adjustments as needed.
  • Write SQL and PL-SQL to extract data from Oracle and Db2 databases, and upload into PostgreSQL databases using Ab Initio.
  • Maintain documentation for job processes and update as needed.
  • Coordinate with various other teams to resolve production job failures.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve job failures.
  • Develop code to create new client-server jobs as part of application modernization effort.
  • Attend all customer technical discussions / design / development meetings and provide technical inputs to further enhance the code quality / process.
  • Impact functional strategy by developing new solutions, processes, standards, or operational plans that position Leidos competitively in the marketplace.
  • All other duties as assigned or directed.

    • Key Required Skills :

    Strong working knowledge of COBOL, JCL, Ab Initio, PL-SQL, Linux Scripting, and of DB2. PostgreSQL, and Oracle databases.

    Requirements

    Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years of experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field.
  • Masters or Doctorate degree may substitute for required experience
  • 10+ years of experience with Web component development using modern JavaScript, CSS and CSS preprocessors such as SASS and LESS, ES 6+, and Stencil.js.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement.

    • Required Skills :

  • Understanding the DB2 and Oracle data models and JCL Programs.
  • Proficient writing Ab Initio scripts to extract, transform, and load data.
  • Proficient in writing PL-SQL scripts.
  • Experience monitoring and troubleshooting daily production jobs and job failures.
  • Proficient in writing Linux scripts for ETL.
  • Excellent communication and written skills

    • Desired Skills :

  • Experience with modern development software, tools, and methodologies.
  • Experience working on Agile projects and understanding Agile terminology.
  • Work in DevOps Environment.
  • Experience with Linux environments.
  • Participate in daily scrum and provide updates.
