Embedded Software Developer Summer Intern

We are part of the Systems Data Storage team, responsible for delivering applications and services that provide a cohesive management and user experience across Seagate’s product lines. Our software layer manages data, configures storage, monitors health and performance, and supports both industry-standard and proprietary interfaces—serving customers ranging from connected devices to large-scale private cloud databases.

About the role - you will :

• Work alongside experienced engineers to design, implement, and debug embedded software components for array devices
• Develop embedded software within a Linux environment.
• Assist in resolving software defects, participate in design and code reviews, and update software documentation.
• Write automated test cases for software quality assurance.

The estimated base wage range for this position is $24 - $35 / hr. The individual base wage is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Seagate also offers Interns 12 paid holidays and a minimum of 48 hours of paid sick leave. The benefits for this position are based on a 24 to 40-hour-per-week schedule for a full calendar year and may differ depending on work location and tenure with the Company.
